Prohibited merchandise
Skriti is a marketplace where women's, children's, and men's clothing and accessories are available in both traditional and indo-western styles. To ensure that your marketplace is as clutter-free as possible, we ask that you refrain from listing any items that do not fall under the categories we support, as this clutters the marketplace, causes confusion for other shoppers, and makes the shopping experience less enjoyable for them.
Skriti accepts pre-owned and new items that are clean and in good condition. Items must be clearly and accurately represented. We currently do not allow selling cosmetics, home goods, or liquid merchandise.
Several illegal items are prohibited by Skriti, including replicas, fakes, merchandise derived from threatened or extinct species, prescriptions, medical merchandise/products making claims about health, live animals, food, misrepresented Native American or American Indian art and crafts, and stolen items. Skriti may suspend any member who buys, lists, or otherwise attempts to sell illegal items. Even though an item is not explicitly "counterfeit," using a brand name to falsely describe or promote the item violates trademark law. Designer items must be sold in their original condition. Using parts of a designer item, such as a dupatta, to create a new outfit is prohibited.
According to USPS regulations, Skriti is also prohibited from providing for sale any items that cannot be shipped with one of the shipping labels we offer, including nail polish, perfumes, aerosols, and lithium batteries, that cannot be shipped using any of the shipping labels we offer. In addition, several thousand other items cannot be shipped using any of our labels, including these and thousands of others. You can find more information about what merchandise may be subject to a recall on the Consumer Product Safety Commission website. Skriti prohibits the sale of items recalled by the government or the manufacturer.
The products that may be traded in or may have been derived from threatened or endangered species include clothing, shoes, jewelry, fur, bags, accessories, rings, bracelets, and home décor items, as well as clothing, shoes, jewelry, fur, bags, accessories, rings, bracelets, and home décor items. Various things can be considered a trade-in or a production of such items. Electronic items that Skriti does not allow the sale of if they include any extra data, features, or media that do not match the original factory settings.
As part of our operations, this policy aims to prevent the sale and purchase of small and large appliances, furniture, cosmetics, personal care products, health and wellness merchandise, undergarments, and uniforms by any employee, as well as part of our rules and regulations. Therefore, any listings in these categories will be deleted. In addition, there is a risk of permanent suspension from Skriti for members who attempt to sell items that are generally prohibited from selling.
Policy on returns
Skriti offers a final sale policy. While taking an active role in every purchase, we ensure all parties have a positive experience. If the buyer doesn't get their item or if the item they get isn't as described, they can contact us, and we will do our best to resolve the matter.
We will not offer returns for the following concerns: (1) the fit of the garment, (2) the item is no longer desired (3) the delivery was delayed.
The buyer can report their issue within 3 days of delivery through the app or on the web if they receive an item that does not match the listing description or is sent the wrong item, or is not as described. Buyers will be required to upload photos and provide details regarding the item. Our teams will verify the return within 3-5 business days. After the buyer has returned the item to the seller, we will assist them in obtaining a full refund from the seller that will go towards their Skriti wallet.
When creating listings, we encourage sellers to be as descriptive and detailed as possible to avoid problems with sales. If you have questions about the listing photos, description, or condition of the item, please ask the seller for additional details, measurements, or photographs by leveraging the comment section under the photo. You are more than welcome to ask the seller if you need additional information.

Ship Your Item.
Let Skriti handle the details once your item is listed. The pre-paid shipping label will be sent to you. Put the shipping label on the package, pack the article, and drop it off at the Post Office. Stamps are not required.
Cash Out.
You may withdraw your earnings from Skriti at any time. For example, put your money directly into your checking account, request a check, or use the cash to make purchases now on Skriti.
- We will handle all the following: credit card fees, financial transactions, and shipping label fees, and we will act as your customer service department.

Which countries do you ship to?
We currently only ship within the United States and accept US Dollars as payment but as we grow, we plan to expand to various countries.
How do I redeem a promotional code?
If you have a valid promo code, all you have to do is enter it during the checkout process. Once your promo code has been entered and accepted, you can enjoy your savings!
How do I know that the products you sell are authentic?
We understand that you want to be sure that the products you buy from Skriti are authentic. We take authenticity very seriously and we have a number of measures in place to ensure that the products we sell are genuine.
- We only work with reputable suppliers. We carefully vet all of our suppliers to make sure that they are legitimate and that they sell authentic products.
- We verify the authenticity of every product. Before we list a product for sale, we verify its authenticity by checking the product's packaging, serial number, and other identifying features.
- We offer a money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the authenticity of a product you purchase from Skriti, you can return it for a full refund.

I have received an item that is damaged or incorrect. What do I do?
We apologize if we sent you an incorrect item, garment size, or damaged item. Please email us at contactus@skriti.co with a photograph of the item. We will make this right by sending you the correct item or size.
After I have returned an item, when will I see my refund?
Once you have returned an item, the brand or designer will run through an inspection of the garment. Damaged or soiled items will not be accepted for return if damaged or soiled. In the event that the garment is free of damage, we will give you a store credit for the amount paid.
Can I return my outfit to a brand store instead of shipping it back?
Unfortunately, all purchases made through Skriti Marketplace must be returned through Skriti. Please contact us at contact@skriti.co.
Is my packaging insured?
When items travel from our store to the shipping address, they are insured against accidental damage and theft. Your items are no longer covered by insurance once they have been delivered to your address. Should your box be damaged upon arrival, we recommend either refusing the delivery or making a note while signing for it that you are accepting a damaged package.
Can I order from different designers on one order?
Due to the nature of our brands being located in various locations, only one brand can be purchased at a time. There will be a separate shipping fee for each brand. If you require more than one item to be shipped from a different brand, you will have to make separate transactions per item. As we grow, our goal is to identify an eco-friendly way to buy from various brands.
What additional duties and taxes will I have to pay?
Taxes and duties are included in all product prices for Indian customers. The prices displayed on the website (on a Delivery Duty Unpaid basis) do not include any import duties. Upon delivery, you are responsible for all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes imposed by your country, for which payment is required to clear your order from customs.

Is it safe to use my credit card?
In order to ensure the security of your credit card information, Skriti accepts credit card payments through our Stripe partner.
When will I be charged?
After your order is placed successfully, you will be charged immediately by credit or debit cards.
What are the payment methods you accept?
MasterCard, Visa, and American Express are accepted.
Do I need to sign for my order upon delivery?
Dependent on the value of your item, after your order is delivered successfully to your address, we request that you sign for it.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Every product page on this website mentions an estimated delivery time for each product. Each product has a different delivery time, so please check the delivery time before checking out. Please note that we are not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance at the destination. When you have placed your order, you can track your items by clicking on 'Track my orders' on the 'My Account' page once you have placed your order. Whenever your order is in process, shipped, or in the delivery process, you will be able to see the date. Downloading our app provides real-time updates!
I havent received all items that I have purchased. When will it be delivered?
There is a fair chance that you will receive your items on separate days if you purchase multiple items. For detailed information about the status of each item in your order, view 'Track my orders'.
Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?
If the brand hasn't accepted your order, you can go to "My Account" and click on "Track your order". Select the items you want to cancel and your reason for cancellation. We'll email you confirmation of your canceled order. Once your order has been accepted by the supplier, the order can no longer be canceled.
How do I track my order?
Once you have placed an order, we will send you a tracking number through email. Or you will be able to view the date your item is in process the date of shipment to the date of your item being in the process of delivery through our website or the mobile app.
How do I know if my order has been placed?
Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation or app notification that the brand has accepted your order.
Why does Skriti not carry inventory?
Skriti does not carry inventory because it reduces waste, saves space, is more responsive to customer demand, and is more cost-effective. This also makes Skriti more eco-friendly by eliminating the need for inventory storage, which requires a lot of energy and resources.
Are the colors shown on the website accurate to the garments?
Skriti does its best to accurately display the colors of the garments. Our garment colors cannot be guaranteed to match the colors displayed on an electronic device 100% of the time. There may be sight variations in items that are hand embroidered.
I need help deciding what to buy, can I speak to a stylist?
If you are looking for something specific or in a particular style, Skriti stylists can help you find it. Whether you need help deciding what color to wear or what garment will compliment your body type, our stylists can help. Our designers can be reached at contact@skriti.co for styling-related queries.
Does Skriti offer alterations?
Alteration is not a service we currently offer. However, our stylish team can assist you with specific cases and get you connected with specific brands to get custom sizing made.
What size should I order?
On each product page, there is a size conversion chart that can help you determine the right size. Designers use the international sizing chart for all products. We can provide the exact dimensions of the product so that you can compare it with your own so that you can determine if the size is right for you.

How do I reset my password?
If you forget your password, click on 'Forgot password' and you will be redirected to an email that allows you to reset it.
How can I change my personal details or shipping address?
To change your personal details or shipping address, log in to our website or app and click 'My Account'.
How do I register for an account?
Creating a password and an email address is all you need to register. Your shopping cart can be viewed when you sign in.
How do I update my information?
You can update it at any time via your online account at skriti.com or on the skriti marketplace app available in the Apple store or GooglePlay
How long do you hold my information for?
We hold your information for as long as necessary to provide you with the services you have requested, to comply with our legal obligations, and to protect our legitimate interests. We will delete your information as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to any legal or contractual obligations we may have to retain it. You can request that we delete your information at any time.
How do I opt out of marketing content?
We try our best to limit our marketing emails in order to give you your space! If you'd still don't want to receive these, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom that you can click to opt out of email marketing.
