Our Story
Skriti Marketplace traces back to my experiences visiting diverse communities, where I learned the true value of bargaining, repurposing clothing and resources, and the beauty of sharing openly with neighbors. These cultural practices from my time in Bangladesh ignited a passion for sustainability and environmental protection within me. With these values in mind, I envisioned an online retail platform that embodied these principles and promoted a community-based approach to buying, selling, and donating. After months of collaborating with developers, distributors, and more, I set out to create a space that resonated with myself and my peers. Finally, in September 2022, Skriti was born, an embodiment of my vision and a reflection of the sustainable, community-driven marketplace I had dreamt of creating.
